BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Wreath’s Across America mobile exhibit will be held in Bakersfield on April 29th to honor veterans.

“The aim of the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education exhibition is to bring the community together and teach patriotism as we remember the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes,” executive director Karen Worcester said in a press release. “However, over the past year, given the current health crisis, we feel that this exhibition has gained even more prominence by allowing people to safely participate in something that is both educational and inspiring while supporting and something returns the communities it visits. “

According to the press release, the exhibition serves as a mobile museum with interactive exhibits, short films and shared stories.

The Bakersfield Chapter and District XV of the California State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host the exhibit for a free open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eye St. 1925.
