Two individuals have been arrested, one suspect after the East Bakersfield automobile chase

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA. – Two people are behind bars and a suspect is still at large after a traffic obstruction near Pomona and Columbus Streets in East Bakersfield turned into a chase.

Shortly after 7 p.m., the Kern County Sheriff’s Office tried to stop traffic in Haley and Columbus because they had an arrest warrant for a murder suspect who was in the suspect’s vehicle.

The vehicle did not stop and there was a chase that lasted three blocks.

During the chase, the suspect hit two other cars, no one was injured.

Two people are in custody, including the murder suspect.

KCSO is still looking for another suspect, described as Hispanic. He is 30 years old and wears a flannel shirt. He is considered armed and dangerous.
