The Bakersfield City School District is returning to face-to-face learning this fall

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) – The Bakersfield City School District announced that students will return to face-to-face learning for the upcoming school year.

In a statement, the BCSD said students would be returning for the 2021-2022 school year unless circumstances change.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Bakersfield City School District plans a full personal return of students for the 2021-2022 school year beginning Wednesday, August 18, 2021. All students will be on campus for 5 one week and full time should expect learning plans similar to those prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. “

The BCSD encourages parents to continue checking ParentSquare, the district’s information site, for additional information about student return to school, including transportation and any safety logs.
