La Verne, CA (77.4 km southeast of the epicenter) [Map] / Shaking gently (MMI IV) / single vertical elevation / 2-5 s : Felt a double bump as I sat on the bed on the second floor of my house. My cat jumped off the bed and ran down the hall. I’m very surprised that this 3.0 mag quack was as far away as Bakersfield. It felt a lot closer to San Dimas!
