Obituary for Pamela Williams – (1962-2021) – Bakersfield, CA.

Pamela Elaine (button) Williams
July 9, 1962 – March 6, 2021

Pamela (Pam), 58 years old, returned to her Heavenly Father on March 6, 2021.

Pam is survived by her 39-year-old sweetheart, Kent Williams, and their three children. Kenith (Rikki), Morgan and Kristi, two grandchildren Clayson and Conner, mother Sina Knopf, two brothers Tony Scigliano and family, Les Scigliano and family, sister-in-law Kimala Wallo and family, the Twisted Sisters (their group for lunch) and many other children which she claimed and called her own.

Pam was born on July 9, 1962 in Downey, California, to Sina and Layton Knopf. She was known for her love of fun, real kindness, willingness to serve, and love for all things Disney has to offer. If you can think of a job, Pam probably has experience with it. She loved trying new things and wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty (but she didn’t mind a manicure either). Everyone knew that when it came to her family, she had better stay out of the way of her babies; She was a wild, fiery person and fought hard for her faith.

Pam met Kent at the age of 18 and literally fell head over heels. She sprained her ankle on her first date and the rest is history. Pam and Kent then welcomed three beautiful children and many fur babies. Together they loved good food, were surrounded by family and friends, and traveled to places near and far. Some of Pam’s favorite trips were to pick up Kenith from his mission in the West Indies and to Washington DC with Kristi. Pam loved the story and was very patriotic. She has been a great supporter of our troops and law enforcement, and as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many roles, organizing many large service projects and activities.

She was always the first to volunteer to buy fireworks and the first to go on an adventure. Being a grandma was her calling in life. She was “Big Mama” to her children and “G-ma” to her grandchildren. Pam fought hard and died after 2 1/2 years in her home surrounded by family.

Pam’s funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on March 13, 2021 at Latter-day Saints Church of Jesus Christ, 601 Deseret Way. The services are also transmitted via the link
