BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Two people who shot gunshots that hit vehicles and homes, according to officials in East Bakersfield, have been arrested on multiple gun and drug offenses.

Felix Abel Guterriez, 34, and Elizabeth Cardenas, 30, both from Bakersfield, were arrested Tuesday after MPs issued a search warrant on the 3000 block of Fillmore Avenue, according to sheriff officials.

The two are suspects in a shooting that took place on April 28 in the Oregon Street and West Drive area. No injuries were reported.

The suspicious vehicle was identified and found at the Fillmore Avenue residence, MPs said.

According to the sheriff’s office, MPs found a self-assembled “ghost” pistol and numerous rounds of ammunition that matched the firearms at the location of the shooting in the residence. They also found 20 pounds of methamphetamine, half a pound of heroin, and about 1,000 fentanyl pills.
