BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – The Kern Law Enforcement Association and Bakersfield 3 Charity joined forces on Monday for a golf tournament that will benefit Kern Secret Witness.

The Tee Fore Three tournament was held at the Seven Oaks Country Club.

Kern Secret Witness is a nonprofit that offers rewards for anonymous information leading to arrest and conviction in a case. The Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff’s Department support the Secret Witness program and, according to a press release, recognize it as a valuable tool for solving crimes and arresting wanted people.

The charity was run by the mothers of James Kulstad, Micah Holsenbake and Baylee Despot. The three were either murdered in the spring of 2018 or disappeared within weeks and came to be known as The Bakersfield 3.
