Kern County’s public health services reported 24 new cases of coronavirus Thursday morning with no new deaths.
This means that the number of cases in the district has risen to 110,546 since the pandemic began. 1,400 people have died.
According to public health reports, 39,727 people have recovered from their illness and it is estimated that more than 68,300 have recovered.
This is an age breakdown of the positive cases. 13,543 people under the age of 17. 66,665 people between 18 and 49 years of age. 20,046 people aged 50-64 years. 10,199 people aged 65 and over.
The state reports that 25 people with COVID-19 have been hospitalized in Khan, five of whom were in intensive care.
