KCSOS Announces Classified Employee of the Year | News – Bakersfield, California

The Kern County Principal announced the 2021 Kern County Classification Employees of the Year.

According to a press release from KCSOS, the school district has nominated employees with model classification in eight categories established by the California Department of Education.

Categories include technical services, transportation services, food and nutrition services, health and student services, skilled workers, office and administrative services, paraprofessional services, and warehouse and maintenance services.

The KCSOS jury has selected the winners in each category for the State Classified Employee of the Year, who will be selected by the CDE later this year.

This year’s Kern County School of the Year Staff are:

Technical service category

Panama-Buena Vista Union School District

Transportation service category

Food and nutrition services category

Earl Warren Middle School / Panama-Buena Vista Union School District

Health and Student Services category

Maintenance specialist II

Bakersfield School District

Office and administrative services category

Educational assistant special education

Old River Elementary School / Panama-Buena Vista Union School District

Management and maintenance services category
