Coastal Conservation Association California (CCA CAL) staff will travel to Cope’s Tackle & Rod Shop in Bakersfield, CA for a briefing on CCA California. This meeting is scheduled for April 8, 2021 at 6 p.m.
“We’re excited to get back on the road and Bakersfield was one of our favorite places, especially during the show season,” said CCA CAL Executive Director Wayne Kotow. “It is only natural to start a new local chapter in Bakersfield as there are many saltwater anglers in the area.”
“CCA California did an amazing job fighting for our fishing rights now more than ever,” he said Seth Mostero, Owner of Cope’s Tackle & Rod Shop.
Developing local chapters remains a priority for CCA CAL and this is a great opportunity for the CCA CAL brand to continue growing.
This briefing session is a great opportunity for anglers to learn more about previous CCA CAL efforts and achievements, and to ask questions about the organization.
CCA CAL has participated in several shows in the Bakersfield area, including the Fred Hall Show at Kern County Fairgrounds from 2016 to 2019, and should be on the Central Valley Sportsmen’s Boat, RV and Outdoor Show in 2020 before it was canceled due to COVID -19.
All saltwater anglers in the greater Bakersfield area are encouraged to attend the meeting at Cope’s Tackle & Rod Shop and become part of a brand new chapter in CCA CAL.
