Bakersfield Fireplace Division investigates structural fireplace on Quincy Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – A man who was shot dead during an undercover robbery at an illegal casino has filed a lawsuit against Kern County, accusing MPs of falsifying reports of the incident in which he was injured. Claims for damages must be made against government agencies and are usually the first step in a lawsuit.

In December, Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Geherty shot and killed Willie Roberts in front of the casino on E California Avenue near the mountain. Vernon Avenue to the east of Bakersfield. Roberts was hit in the thigh and continues to receive medical treatment while on trial in March.
