BAKERSFIELD, California – Bakersfield Christian High School has announced its plan for the school year and will be heavily influenced by where the county is on the state’s COVID-19 watch list, according to school officials.
School officials said their scheduled start date is August 13th. However, if they are unable to begin classes in person, they will postpone the start of the school year to August 24th. If by then they are unable to hold courses on campus by August 24, they will move on to distance learning. If school starts on August 24th, the school year will be extended after Memorial Day.
Officials also say that students and families will have the option to choose whether they want in-person or digital classes as well.
