BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – The National Breast Center Accreditation Program has granted Adventist Health Bakersfield’s Breast Center a three-year accreditation.
According to Adventist Health, in order to receive accreditation, a breast center must demonstrate compliance with NAPBC standards relating to the leadership, clinical services, research, public relations, professional education, and quality improvement of a center.
Breast centers that apply for accreditation must visit the site every three years.
“This accreditation confirms the quality of care for our patients,” said Dr. Francesca Hoehne, Medical Director of the Breast Center. “Our team offers this cutting edge care with a compassionate heart right here in our own community. We are honored to receive this national accreditation again, but we are always committed to providing consistent, high quality care to each of our patients. “
