BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Churches are finding ways to welcome people back to church for Easter. This pandemic has made it difficult for churchgoers to collect themselves and feel a sense of community. But now that the restrictions are easing, this year’s Easter may look a little more normal than last spring. Church members now find their connection to God in the shade of the trees.
“Everything outside is starting to bloom, the trees are turning green,” said Deacon David Rodriguez of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Catholic Church. “There are flowers everywhere.”
