2nd Annual 23ABC Bakersfield Child Bathe an enormous success with the assistance of the group

The 2nd annual Bakersfield Baby Shower was held on Thursday and 23ABC was accepting donations throughout the day to support local families in need.

During the day, the community distributed diapers, toys, baby food, rocking chairs, car seats, and pacifiers. Anything donated helps organizations like The Mission at Kern County and the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center. Together with the Alliance against Domestic Violence, the donations also go to the Dream Center organization.

“Because of COVID we have to part but still somehow get together, and so a lot of people really need these supplies, and that’s why I know it takes a little more effort to get out, but it really makes a difference,” Jaime Doniaz said with the Valley Strong Credit Union.

If you still want to donate, you can contact The Mission at Kern County or Bakersfield Pregnancy Center and donate to their locations.

23ABC would like to thank the community for supporting our local organizations and families in need. And we would like to especially thank J & M’s Party Supplies for the balloons and our sponsors Hall Ambulance and Little Caesars Pizza who donated food for our volunteers.

Many thanks also to these people and organizations who have donated:
